I honestly had no idea I could get something so damnably depressing out of Jane. And now I want to write futurefic with somebody about the whole bunch as oldsters or at least parents, and have it be *HAPPY*. Because Jane will probably wind up mother to a HERD of little monsters and be having those kitchen parties.
