Whether or not you believe in magic, I do. Criss Angel's mass levitation worked on me...

Right up until my toes began to leave the ground, at which point my god-damn lizard brain kicked in and I woke up. But, I felt myself becoming lighter and starting to sway.

Power of suggestion? Magic? Supremely advanced science? I don't know. But I know that, with the plantar fascitis and my weight, I should not have been up on my tiptoes without being in screaming pain right now.
